TSS is staffed by experienced and professional teachers. All teachers are certified by the Ontario College of Teachers and many hold Master's or Ph.D. degrees. School Hours

 

At Toronto STEM School, the daily schedule is as follows:

 

  • 8:30 AM: School opens
  • 8:30 AM: Most students arrive at school to have tea or coffee and finish any remaining work. This gives them time to prepare for the start of the day.
  • 9:00 AM: First class begins
  • 10:45 AM: First break
  • 11:00 AM: Second class begins
  • 12:00 PM: Lunchtime
  • 12:45 PM: Continuation of second class
  • 1:30 PM: Second break
  • 1:45 PM: Third class begins
  • 3:30 PM: After-school activities
  • 4:30 PM: School Day Ends

 

Toronto STEM School Admission Requirements

 

Pursuing a STEM education in Toronto can be an excellent choice. The curriculum is aligned with the Ontario high school curriculum, and the STEM approach focuses on providing students with hands-on learning opportunities through internships and direct industry connections.

 

The best time to apply and register is in September. Applications are also sometimes accepted in December and March. Having a language proficiency certificate can positively impact the admission process. The application fee for this school in Toronto is $150 CAD.

Toronto STEM School Tuition Fees

The school's tuition fees include other items such as insurance, visa renewal, accommodation, and so on. According to the school, the tuition fee for international students in grades 9 to 11 is equivalent to CA$14,000 per year and for grade 12 is equivalent to CA$17,000 per year. This tuition covers 8 classes per year. Other costs include:

  • Guardianship: $600
  • Study permit renewal: $600

Toronto STEM School Scholarship

 

One of the best things about attending a STEM school is the opportunity to receive a scholarship. Each year, STEM offers scholarships of up to 30% to one or two students. The following are the requirements in order to be eligible for this scholarship:

 

Applicants must be an international student.

Students must be applying for grades 9, 10, or 11. Scholarships are not available for grade 12.

Students must demonstrate their outstanding ability. This ability can be demonstrated through awards, SSAT scores, or projects.
